Refunds, cancellation and delivery
What happens if you cancel, reschedule, or are not satisfied. Everything sold here is delivered electronically: nothing is shipped and there are no delivery charges.

Cancelling a session
- More than 48 hours before the session: a full refund, or move it to another time at no charge.
- Less than 48 hours before: one free reschedule. A refund at that point is half the fee, because the advocate's time is already committed.
- You do not attend, without telling us: the fee is not refunded. Write to us and we will usually offer one reschedule — people miss these sessions for reasons that are none of our business.
- We cancel or cannot attend: you choose — another time, or a full refund.
Rescheduling
Twice, with at least 24 hours' notice, at no charge. After that we ask for the fee again.
Document drafts
A download cannot be returned once it has been made available, so these are ordinarily non-refundable. Where a file is faulty, will not open, or is the wrong document, write to hello@divorce.me.in and we will replace it or refund it in full.
If the session was not what was promised
Write to hello@divorce.me.in within seven days and say what went wrong. If the session did not cover what this page said it covers, or the drafts did not arrive, you get the fee back. A refund does not require you to explain your matter to anybody other than the firm.
How refunds are paid
To the same method you paid with, within seven working days of approval. Your bank may take a few days longer to show it.

These are not covered by this page. Fees, stages and what happens if the engagement ends early are set out in the engagement letter before any work begins.
